Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2025
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Inception, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on getinception.org. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Inception operates an AI inference acceleration API, and the cookies we use on this website are limited to those needed to run the site and understand how developers and potential customers interact with our documentation and early access pages.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device, store preferences, and measure usage. We also use related technologies such as local storage.
3. How We Use Cookies
We keep our cookie use minimal, consistent with operating a developer-facing platform at early stage. The table below describes the categories in use on getinception.org:
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session state, CSRF token, cookie-banner dismissal record | session - 6 months |
| Preferences | language, theme | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | self-hosted analytics, anonymised page-view and referrer data | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | - |
We do not use cookies to track API usage - API request metrics are handled server-side and are not tied to browser cookies.
4. Notice and Choice
By continuing to use the Service, you consent to our use of cookies as described above. You can opt out of analytics cookies through our cookie banner or by configuring your browser. The cookie banner at the bottom of this site gives you one-click dismissal; you can reopen your preferences at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. Because we do not currently engage in any sale or sharing of personal information for advertising, GPC signals are honoured by confirming that no such activity will occur for that session.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties acting as our service providers (for example, analytics infrastructure). We have agreements with such providers limiting their use of data to providing the service to us. We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad-retargeting cookies.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use our cookie banner to opt out of analytics.
- Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; see aboutcookies.org for instructions.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the ability to use account login and session features.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Questions about our cookie use can be directed to:
